I’ve been tattooing since 2008, and building a body of work between the East and West Coasts ever since. What started as a way to keep drawing turned into a craft I’ve spent my adult life refining.
My focus is custom tattooing — black & grey realism, illustrative work, fine line, lettering, and large-scale custom pieces built around the person wearing them. Every project starts from your idea.
Every artist develops a way of seeing. A way of seeing, creating, and eventually, leaving a mark. The MIC monogram is that mark — the signature behind every piece, every client relationship, every hour spent at the machine since 2008.
Send over your idea, placement, and size through the booking form. Mic will follow up to talk through the concept and answer questions.
A deposit is required to secure your date and is applied toward the final cost of your piece. Deposits are non-refundable. Once received and confirmed, we’ll lock in your appointment.
Once your deposit is confirmed on file, Mic finalizes your custom design and preps the stencil. Smaller or simpler pieces are usually shared beforehand for your input; for larger or more detailed work, the stencil goes on skin the day of, with time built in to adjust placement and sizing before the needle touches down.
Sessions are unhurried — we’ll take breaks when you need them and work at a pace that keeps the linework and shading clean. Come rested, fed, and hydrated, and wear something that gives easy access to the area being worked on. Larger pieces are often split across multiple sessions rather than rushed into one sitting.
Fresh pieces are covered with a Second Skin or Tegaderm bandage, which can stay on for 3–5 days — it protects the tattoo and keeps things clean while the initial healing starts. You’ll be sent a PDF with full aftercare instructions, plus a separate set of steps for aftercare without the bandage in case you need to remove it early.
